Welcome to AISLAB
Welcome to the AISLab (Applied Intelligent Systems Laboratory) the University of Milan (UNIMI). Our research focuses on autonomous mobile robotics, artificial intelligence, smart and assistive systems. Our goal is to develop robots that can help humans during daily activities.
The lab combines theoretical AI research with real-world applications, focusing on topis such as robot perception and navigation, long-term autonomy, robot learning, and multi-robot systems. The application areas cover industrial, clinical, and field domain. Main areas of applications are assistive technolgies, rehabilitiation, field and service robots.
We are based in the Department of Computer Science, and we lead national and EU-funded projects in healthcare, assistive robotics, and assistive technologies. The research group is led by Prof. N. Alberto Borghese, with group members Prof. Nicola Basilico and Matteo Luperto.

For information about projects and the courses taught by Prof. N. Alberto Borghese, see the lab website and the teaching activity page.
